Fall of year 1
- Identify and participate in three laboratory rotations (more information below): GRAD 5974 MCB Laboratory Rotations (6 credits P/F)
- BIOL 5984 Modern Cell & Molecular Biology Methods (3 credits A-F)
- STAT 5615 Statistics in Research (3 credits A-F)
- BMVS 5594 Current Techniques in Biomedical Science (1 credit A-F)
- BIOL 5174 Seminars Across the Sciences (1 credit P/F)
- Two weeks prior to the start of spring semester, complete Change of Degree Graduate Program to reflect the department of the lab that you have chosen
2026 Lab Rotation schedule
- Rotation 1: Aug 11 – Sep 11, Presentations: Tuesday, September 15, 3:30 pm
- Rotation 2: Sep 14 – Oct 16, Presentations: Tuesday, October 20, 3:30 pm
- Rotation 3: Oct 19 - Nov 20, Presentations: Tuesday, December 1, 3:30 pm
Rotation forms
- MCB Rotation Agreement (to be submitted BEFORE each rotation starts)
- MCB Rotation Lab Evaluation (to be submitted by student after each rotation)
- MCB Rotation Student Evaluation (to be submitted by PI after each rotation)
