Application Fee Waivers

Virginia Tech requires a $75 non-refundable application fee for degree-seeking applicants to the Graduate School. However, the MCB program occasionally provides application fee waivers to students with strong credentials who would otherwise not be able to apply. More information on fee waivers is available on the Graduate School website.

To be considered for an application fee waiver, please enter your information here by November 15th. We will let you know well in advance of the December 1st priority deadline whether you will receive a waiver or not.

As of August 2024, the Graduate School is now able to offer fee waivers for applicants who have/will earn a degree from any HBCU from the accredited HBCU List.
