The Theus group is interested in the pathological sequelae of acute and chronic brain injury, specifically focusing on cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive neural tissue damage and dysfunction. The group utilizes genetic approaches, transgenic rodent models, transcriptome/proteome analysis and innovative drug delivery systems.
