Wei Sun

The Sun Lab uses chemical and synthetic biology to understand and engineer protein-RNA interactions. We develop novel tools to map these interfaces at high resolution in living cells, investigating their roles in RNA regulation, CRISPR-Cas systems, and disease. Our research also explores the function of circular RNAs in mosquitoes and applies our approaches to engineer safer, more precise gene-editing tools and therapeutics.
