Astrocyte function in health and disease
The Olsen lab investigates the role of astrocytes in normal and abnormal central nervous system function. Ongoing projects are aimed at understanding how astrocytes contribute to development and maturation of the central nervous system and how aberrant astrocyte function contributes to CNS disease and neurodevelopmental disorders.
