RNA viruses – mechanisms, diagnostics, and therapeutics
The Kehn-Hall lab studies RNA viruses that cause acute infections, including equine encephalitis viruses, Rift Valley fever virus, and SARS-CoV-2. Goals include 1) the identification of critical host factors, 2) evaluating small molecule inhibitors for their therapeutic potential, and 3) developing novel diagnostic tools.
