Understanding and remodeling the gut microbiota
The Hsu lab is using an inter-disciplinary approach (microbiology, synthetic biology, and biomaterials) towards understanding and remodeling the gut microbiota. The lab particularly focuses on discovering new phages and genetically engineering them for anti-bacterial and anti-virulence applications.
