Host microbe interactions and their connection to human health
The Gentry Lab studies the chemistry that connects humans and their microbiomes. By combining mass spectrometery, organic sythesis, bacterial cultivation and data science, our group identifies new metabolites and biochemical pathways involved in host-microbe interactions and examines their connection to human health.
