Christopher Thompson

The Thompson Laboratory studies how thyroid hormone shapes cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie brain development. They also screen suspected endocrine disrupting chemicals for their effects on thyroid hormone-mediated neural circuit formation. The lab uses immunohistochemistry, qPCR, and in vivo imaging in Xenopus laevis tadpoles to address these issues.
