Cell division is fascinatingly complex and needs to be completed with utmost precision, so that both daughter cells can survive. The Hauf lab uses molecular genetics, advanced fluorescence microscopy, proteomics and computational modeling to identify the molecular mechanisms behind reliable and robust cell division.
